My name is Sable. When I got pregnant, a kind human took me in so that my babies wouldn't be born outside. The human tried every agency she could. The story was the same. No room at the inn, here is another list of groups you can try.
Now - with the hurricane, those organizations won't even consider us. The human is in an apartment that doesn't allow more than 2 cats and so cannot keep any of us as she already has her own kitties. My babies have been inside since born and have been fed, and loved and socialized. They are weaned and litter trained and as of 10/27 are 13 weeks old. Bear (now midnight) and Smiley (now Kiki) have been adopted. Mr. Patty and Taffy (AKA Sassy) were adopted from the Atlanta Humane Society. |

Mr. Patti Adopted out from the ATL Humane Society - I have a home now. After about 6 weeks the vet told the human that I am a boy. I don't much care what I'm called so I still answer to Miss Patty. I have a sweet personality and I go running to the human when she comes in the room. The human is not supposed to have favorites but I know that I am (She told me so). I think I would be happy with either one of my brothers/sisters or would be good with just a human. I'm no longer the smallest - once I found canned food!

SassyI was adopted too - we ALL have homes now - yeah! I'm Sassy (the Humane Society is calling me Taffy now). I enjoy running through the tunnel and climbing on the cat tree - I'm getting really good at that now. I think I'll eventually be a lap cat. I'd like to find a place with Mr. Patti, but I think I'd be OK with just my human or a resident pet - I get along easily.
